WiFi signals weaken through walls and floors. HTEM5 adapters create a stable wired connection through coax wiring, helping devices in other rooms maintain consistent speeds and lower latency.
MoCA works best in homes originally wired for Cable TV (Spectrum, Xfinity, Cox, etc.). If your home was set up for Satellite TV (DirecTV, DISH), MoCA likely will NOT work due to incompatible wiring infrastructure.

Running Ethernet cables through walls can be expensive and disruptive.
HTEM5 allows you to extend wired network performance using the coax wiring already installed in many homes.
Plug one HTEM5 adapter into a coax outlet near your modem/router and connect it to your router’s LAN port with Ethernet. In another room, connect the second HTEM5 adapter to a coax outlet and your device. Power on both adapters and the MoCA connection is created automatically.
HTEM5 works with virtually any router or mesh WiFi system and connects directly to devices such as:

• desktop computers

Not compatible with satellite TV or AT&T U-verse coax networks.
Most homes don’t need extra parts for MoCA. Low- and mid-split cable modems stay below MoCA frequencies. High-split modems overlap with MoCA and may interfere. A POE (Point of Entry) filter can help keep your MoCA signal strong and stable.
